Tara James is based in East Kent and has been performing for  nearly 30 years as a vocalist, DJ and children’s entertainer.  Tara ‘earnt’ her stripes on the holiday park circuit and has worked across the UK on a variety of contracts, even dabbling in some work for P&O North Sea Ferries before she realised she didn’t have the legs for it!

Having worked with the retro group The Totsys (formally Hotsy Totsy) for three years, Tara was definitely born in the wrong era and loves nothing more than donning her petticoat for a special occasion – like a Wednesday!

Her music style ranges from the 50s/60s to more current easy listening, and she individually tailors her set list to meet the clients requirements.  As a DJ she caters to all styles of music with a family focus spanning the generations for parties, weddings and special occasions and has a full lighting and sound system for up to a 1000 seater venue.

Tara has public liability insurance up to £10,000,000, a current DBS certificate, fully PAT tested equipment and for assurance to her clients has received all of her covid vaccinations and undertakes regualr lateral flow tests.
